Meaningful art for mindful spaces

Tabitha Schae is a contemporary visual artist based in Calgary, Alberta. While she works across a wide range of styles, she is often drawn to the beauty, personality, and storytelling found in animals. Her practice, rooted primarily in oil painting, explores themes of nature, movement, motherhood, and emotional connection. As a mother of two, the warmth and honesty of family life frequently appear in her work, adding depth and relatability to her pieces.
Tabitha’s paintings are recognized for their harmonious palettes, layered textures, and uplifting tone. Her work has been featured in local exhibitions, community galleries, and fine art markets throughout Calgary. She is an active member of the Calgary Sketch and Painting Club and the Leighton Art Centre, and she is also the founder of the Calgary Art Community.
In addition to her studio practice, Tabitha teaches youth painting classes and organizes seasonal art events, helping to support and inspire the next generation of artists. Tabitha’s goal is to create artwork that resonates with viewers long after they’ve left the gallery space.
